Greg - I suspect that it would be legal, but the IANAL  
applies. If memory serves, and was correct in the first  
place, I would need to monitor and interpret that  
information in order to make my own phone call. Besides,  
the way many people blab loudly on their cell phones, I  
have to wonder about any assumption of privacy to that  
communication. (Ok, that last bit is probably not germane,  
but I do dislike current cell phone manners...)
