As far as I can tell you should be able to use either. Sorry online I didn't
have much luck looking for someone (anyone) in that states that would sell
the I/O bracket but here is one for you from Melbourne, Australia.

Thanks. Can I connect the header to an optical out, or do I have to use
coax? Anyone know where I can get the parts to do this?

The SPDIF connection is only a header, see page 34 item "S".

As for the rest I can't really help much. When I built mine I used an AOpen
965 mini PC (which I had left over from when I closed my computer store) and
Ubuntu 9.04

I am thinking about making a HTPC for my dad. All I want it to do is run
boxee, which runs well on my netbook running UNR. So I figured I would get
this mobo:

Any comments? Any potential pitfalls? Any better suggestions?

Also, it says it does audio through SPDIF, but I don't see that port in the
picture. Can someone shed some light on this?

Thanks,

-O
