[ale] WAY OT: Sealing a honey jar?

I sent that from my iphone.  While the email proggy doesn't use vim, I 
did jailbreak it and
install the VIM for iphone on it so the :wq is still valid :>

   The first shows the plunger Mechanism, the 2nd is a closeup of the 
plug and the 3rd
is the hole the plunger goes into looking down the body of the pot.  It 
does look like
the light brown stuff is a very old rubber that dried up a long time 
ago.  There appears
to be some form of gasket f the same material in the top where it screws 
onto the pot
as well.
