[ale] OT: laser printer cartridges

I purchased a remanufactured black cartridge for my LaserJet 5P (yes, it's
ancient) over a year ago, and I have had no problems with it. Printers have
changed significantly over the past 20 years, so I don't know whether my
experience is of any value to your situation.

Have you considered refilling the cartridge? I'm thinking of doing that
with my Minolta Magicolor 2200 color laser. The upside is a huge savings; I
don't know the down side, other than at some point the carts do wear out.
