[ale] network question

Have a setup that currently is composed of two separate networks. Many
machines have two network cards one for each network. Question is, if
it is necessary to have two nics per machine to handle the load, are we
better off sticking with two separate networks or one and have both nics
in each machine with different ips on the same network.

Which brings the next question, is that a bigger management headache
then simply sticking with the two separate networks?
