I'd recommend against the apt-get route. The package in 8.04, for
instance, hasn't been updated since Wordpress 2.3.3 [0]. I haven't done
the research to be certain, but I would not be surprised if there are
now known security issues in 2.3 that are fixed in later wordpress versions.
