forgive my ignorance here, but my impression is that when using
Evolution and WebDav, there is no sharing in the classical sense of I
can change the appointment on Tuesday and she can change the one on
Friday. There is a Publish/Read-only mechanism, but not on a single
record basis. I can publish the calendar, clobbering anything she has
updated, or she can publish the calendar, clobbering anything I have
changed. Right?

And I appreciate the suggestions of other approaches, but Google Groups
fails in two regards:

A. Getting our shared calendar on my Palm phone so I can see it when I'm
at the dentist's office making an appointment.

B. Like many others, I'm just not comfortable with any random faceless
person somewhere knowing when I'm out of town, and where my children
are. Even Google, although not especially Google.
