Personally, I thought the coffee pot cam
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trojan_Room_coffee_pot)  signaled the
end of civilization. I may have to re-evaluate that viewpoint.

While this guy has found a way to totally abuse an arduino, at least
he found an appropriate use of twitter :-}
