Older SATA in "compatible" mode was IDE.

Newer native SATA is libata in the error messages, etc.  (A subsystem
of SCSI for now, but I don't think you see SCSI in the logs.)

I googled IDE_SCSI and most of what I see are issues related to CD burning.
