I am planning a motorcycle ride for the 2nd weekend in November
(http://tinyurl.com/42nnb6) and I have been thinking about how I could
do updates or "markers" for where I am.  Basically I would like to take
simple notes, snap a pic with my cellphone, email it to <site>, and have
it update my Wordpress site.

I have been using Twitter for a text only updates while traveling, but
for this I am thinking more along the lines of a photo blog or video
diary.  Both of which I have no experience with.

I would love to figure out how to do a "traveled so far" feature that
would show my path/progress and link it to Google maps.  I believe I can
use Open GPS Tracker (http://www.opengpstracker.org/) to do a great deal
of the grunt work, but am unsure of how I can combine that information
with the pic and notes relatively easily.  (good chance that this will
have to be edited manually at the end of the day.)

I suppose I need to get my Wordpress setup to handle updates via email
firstly.  Then maybe I can figure out how to maybe get the Open GPS
Tracker to send texts intermittently for location and get that to upload
to my site.

Ok, all this background was given to ask if anyone is using a similar
feature for their traveling or blogging, etc.  I will appreciate any
suggestions.
