[ale] invisible mounting points on RHEL 5.1

/mnt/m1 is on the NFS server.
It was created as such by a 3rd-party tool:
Mkdir /mnt/m1
Mount -t ext3 -o loop img1 /mnt/m1

We have 200 such directories.
