[ale] Documents and VCS (was Re: Anyone looking for a new gig?)

Heh. I've been updating documentation this week. I do all my work on the
local wiki.  My boss has promised me he'll put it on sharepoint when I'm
finished.

Best of both worlds, I reckon.
