One of the synonyms of "lie" is "FALSEhood". 

Not quite sure why you're involving yourself in that side discussion

Hmm, my definition of 'untrue' is uh, false.  An anomaly is not false.

That being said, I think it's dependent on the hardware and you might 
run into either situation.
