[ale] Am I the only one that is laughing out load at this question?

Um. I wasn't laughing at my choice of a). I was quietly sobbing as quantum
physics was not available in high school. So I majored in it (eventually.
Physics was my 7th major).

I also enjoyed b) in high school.

c) was not an option as physicists were expected to have a natural computer
ability. That said, I _did_ take a FORTRAN class at GaTech and a pascal
class at GSU and managed to get to sit in on a parallel programming class at
GSU in grad school (then I traumatized a multi-cpu solaris machine until I
was told to stop :) .

Of course for some of the _gray_beards_ on this list, math was not far
enough along to have included calculus when _they_ were in school  :-}
