[ale] HOW2 use MOUSE instead of TouchPad on portable

sounds like the mouse/psaux driver is locked to the trackpad -or- the mouse
has been disabled in bios or other software function.

Or the mouse is just dead.

Is it a built-in mouse pointer or an external PS2 port device?
Does a USB mouse work?
