[ale] is there a mobile service that can connect it's phone to a laptop with "good" download speed ?

I use my Verizon Treo 700p with USB cable and usbmodem software for a
PPP connection. I have never had occasion to benchmark it, but it's
comfortable for general web browsing, email, etc.

I have Verizon's unlimited data plan for PDAs at $40/month (in
addition to voice).
