Notice the FMIJ1P~A name.  Looks like samba has somehow assigned that
as the shortname for my new directory and is serving that out to
WIndows clients.  But as I said, it looks correct on my local
filesystem, and with a OpenSUSE 10.3 cifs connected client it looks
fine as well.

Anyone have any idea what is going on?
