My argument is that IMO it IS illegal under our anti-trust laws.  The
two things are not the same.   

It's much like the difference between abortion and murder.   Some people
don't see a difference morally even if there is a difference legally.

That is my whole point in this discussion.   The gap between illegal
and acceptable is something a lot of people can't fathom.   It is not
illegal for M$ to enter into an obscene contract with Dell, if it were
illegal then Dell's lawyers wouldn't let it happen.  It may be
unacceptable and grotesque, but it doesn't automatically constitute an
illegal practice.
