[ale] Mojave experiment

I think the "normal" user definition is changing also. Even moms and
dads "like mine" are using DV cameras, uploading their digital
pictures and downloading music to their ipods. I think the "power"
user gap is quickly starting to narrow simply because people are
becoming more savy. Most computer users I run across are at least
familiar with how to rip a cd, import video, and even encode mp3 files
to other formats to play as a ringtone on their mobile phone.

Of these users most if not all have had horrible experiences
performing these tasks on Vista. The biggest complaint? "Its so slow.
Its doing something, but I'm not sure what." Also, for gaming Vista
has been an awful platform. Most of the gaming threads I've read are
all recommending vista 64 bit or to go back to XP if possible.

In any case, to me it seems like Vista has been somewhat socially
rejected as a good operating system. I think Microsoft is doing the
only thing they can do at this point which is to save face, change
their image and try to be more appealing.

Sorry for any typos, I'm replying from my blackberry.
