I know that, and we tried it both ways, It mentioned something about kernel 
source directory... I'm not sure he has everything installed that he needed. 
It reminds me of my NVidia card, to compile it into the kernel you need MORE 
software than you normally would, so he either missed a step about the kernel 
sources or...
could you email me that manual?? I looked for it and didn't find it.
