[ale] md5sum weirdness on firefox

 I was able to use yum upgrade to go from FC5 to FC6. It went smoother than
using apt-get dist-upgrade from Ubuntu 6.06 to 6.10. Neither one of these was a
supported upgrade method, FWIW.
