Brandon,
Two years ago I finished the GSU program. It took about 3.5 years with
two classes a semester. This was while I had a full time job. And it
required I leave at 4:00 two days a week. One class would start and
4:30 and then the second was around 7:30 if I remember correctly.

I agree a self motivated person could have done the class work. But
if all you are interested in is learning the material then just buy
the books. Or better yet pick up the WSJ every day and 'The Economist'
every week. That will teach a self motivated person more than any 4
year program.

However GSU was very group project oriented. It taught me a lot about
working with others, how to manage people with different goals and
just how to get things done. This was after I'd been in the work place
for eight years (though not in a management role). I think it would be
difficult for that to translate online

One last comment. If you really do want the piece of paper that will
hopefully increase your income then talk to upper management at your
current job. Maybe someone in Marketing who often hires MBAs. Ask
their opinions of the schools your are interested.
