Just in case you haven't seen this...I ran across it after looking at comparisons between digikam and f-spot.

Neatest feature is the ability to draw an picture and have the tool identify images that appear to be similar:

Works surprisingly well and is just plain fun to experiment with. Very cool for sifting through my wife's 32 GB worth of photos!
