OUCH.
well I installed ntfs-3g yesterday, just to see if I could write to my XP
partition. Running openSUSE 10.2

well, system got flaky, things stopped working right ( gedit opened a blank
window, nothing to edit, nothing to open, firefox kept freezing & crashing)
so.... I rebooted.
started with this LVM MD RAID stuff, said my /home partition hadn't been
checked in 49710 days. I also had /dev/sdf5 /Mybook in fstab, but it wasn't
attached just now.
once it finished doing fsck, it gave me the root login prompt, or CTRL-D for
maintenance.

once I logged in, mount showed only root.
did init 6, and it ran the same fsck, same ending.
finally I did a
mount /dev/sda6 /home
init 5

and got back to my wonderful world of windows. what did I do wrong, and do I
HAVE to have the Mybook activated when I reboot?? I commented it out of the
fstab for now..
