For "ghosting" XP, take a look at partimage (http://www.partimage.org) 
or ntfsclone (http://man.linux-ntfs.org/ntfsclone.8.html). Both have 
worked for me in the past. I now stick with partimage since I can use it 
for almost any filesystem.
