Ah, that makes sense.

When I used to use Windows machines away from home, my solution to that
problem was to have PuTTY and Xming available to me so that I could just
forward a connection to my desktop that was at home.  I still, with my
laptop, have the need to create SSH tunnels for NNTP feeds since ComCast
requires that they be used from their own network, but other than
that... well.  :-)  It's a good thing that X11 can be selectively
tunneled.  It's far better than using something like VNC to control an
entire desktop.
