Not any benchmark Calvin.  Firefox has a nifty add-on that is a progress 
bar which sits in the bottom of the browser window.  Hover the mouse 
over and it gives current download speed and est time for completion. 
My main proof is time for downloading a standard 640-660 CD.  Most 
servers I get the 90-135K rate or 2hrs 20min to 2hrs 50min.  If I'm on a 
local fast linux server, i.e., GaTech, it will run 135 to 180.
