Right after I hit "SEND" it dawned on me that there is a different frame
rate and thus the DVD encoding will be different. Ditto on the
resolution. 

thus it just goes to show:
a. Jim hits the send key too quickly

b. standards are for weenies

c. American standard is an oxymoron

So if NTSC is an acronym for "Never Twice the Same Color" is PAL an
acronym for Picture Always Lousy ?
