And here I thought it meant Awfully Slow. I remember working on a 
project for Sports Authority, where their inhouse IT person had written 
a script in REX to upgrade the OS remotely. We were dialing into each of 
the stores POS system verify that the backup was done and the tape for 
upgrade was in place. This of course was done by someone in the store, 
the rest was controlled remotely, during the night. I don't remember how 
many stores we did but all but a couple went without a hitch, not that 
I'm a lover of AS400s. On the reboots they would take what seemed 
forever, they were slow as sh_t! I think a 286 running Winbloze was faster.
