This sounds like an agreeable solution provided you can find the
volunteer forwarders.  The current list keeps the name ale at ale.org and
culture.  Those wanting the moderated list will subscribe to the new
list (perhaps ale-sysadmin at ale.org)  I just don't agree with the current
list being co-opted to fit some other group or individuals needs.  Most
of the time the current list suits me just fine,  when it doesn't I know
how to use the delete key.
