The best printing solutions rest in the PostScript or PCL capable
printers.  Of course, the cost on them can vary.  I have a Lexmark E240
which I bought at NewEgg.com for about $130 (on sale), and it is
wonderful.  The E240n has an Ethernet interface, as well, and can speak
PostScript--the E240 (no 'n') just does PCL 6, though support for that
is fine as well.

There is a printer on NewEgg right now
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16828106373) that is
color, supports PCL 5/6, PostScript 3, and PDF 1.5, and is not as
expensive as these types of printers used to be ($475 + S&H).  Though,
that is still a bit expensive.  I plan on buying a color laser when the
PostScript/PCL compatible ones comes down to about $200-$300, if/when
that happens.  Though, personally, I would prefer a non-color printer
that does finishing and duplex...
