If you are doing all the operations in a GUI environment, then there
is also no need for multiple utilities. Those that you directly
interact with, anyway. K3b is a frontend to lame, sox, cdrecord, et
al. In other words, all you need for burning an audio CD from MP3s is
K3b (if that is the software you want to use). K3b will do all of the
decoding for you.
