[ale] NetCool vs competitors

Robert,

The Atlanta Network and Systems Management Technical User Group
http://www.ansmtug.org/ is a community of folks a lot of whom run NetCool.

I'm sure you could get some good opinions there.

Any good network management product, from Big Brother, to Whats Up Pro, to
HP Openview, will take considerable configuration. Most of these products
are like a box of tinker toys - much can be made of them but much assembly
is required.
