[ale] ALE Picnic !!!! Saturday May 13

The scout group moved the camping trip out one week so the shindig is
back on at my place!!!

Yes, really!! I was told by She Who Must Be Obeyed that I should make
the announcement to the ALE list.

So the plans are:

Starts around 3ish (pm EDT) (If you show up early, I'll put you to work)
Ends around darkish or even dark-thirty (whenever we get tired of people
and revert back to the anti-social, smelly geeks that we are in real
life)

I have a propane grill and a charcoal grill and will have some plates
and tables and cups. 

Bring stuff to eat, burn/char/grill, drink, toss around for fun
(frisbee, hakysack, small animals, lost children), cards to play with
(we have Magic:The Gathering), laptops to geek with (wireless) and most
certainly the important people in your life who let you out to play in
the big blue room :)  I wonder if I could string up a cable and play
MythTV recordings of MythBusters over the video projector?

I am hoping to have stairs finished in time off the deck to keep all you
hooligans out of my office...

Hmm. It would be fun watching a bunch of aging geeks have to jump off a
4' deck to get to the beer...

But I digress.

Drunks will get rolled in used motor oil and used kitty litter before
getting sent home by cab. Obnoxious people will be simply grilled until
tender and served to the cats. The dogs will get only the leftover
obnoxious people.

Oh yeah. People with cat or dog allergies will likely die a horrible
death at my house. Sorry. Ditto for people with dust allergies. The dogs
will be boarded elsewhere as they are large and super friendly and will
eat off the grill (did I mention they weren't too bright?) and probably
knock over your beer and drink it.
