Hey Paul,

Good news for you. Last month the Digital Television Transition and Public
Safety Act was signed into law. It states that by Feb. 17, 2009 all
television in the US will be broadcast digitally.

In short, if today you can receive any signal (however fuzzy) with an pair
of rabbit ears, you'll very likely be able to get crystal clear digital
reception -- for free -- sometime between now and 2/17/2009. All you'll need
is a digital antenna. Oh! and a Mythtv box would be helpful.
