[ale] mounting an SD card

every time I hook my camera to the USB port I get at least THREE 
windows opening up, asking what I want to do with: camera, USB memory 
devices, something else..
I cancel 2 out of three and usually open the USB stick in a file 
manager..
Does it HAVE to open all of these windows????
