No, but I did for years (Gnome, Debian), on the road 90% too, and 
generally liked it. For the past year+ I have just been tied to too many 
win apps at work, ones that don't run all that well under Wine.  I know 
that I can make things work under Linux, or more specific Gnome, it's 
just w/ WinXP I have less pain. ;-) I switch networks a lot (some are 
PEAP, some LEAP, some WEP) and Linux networking never did that stuff 
well for me (granted I'll try again one day, your Ubuntu push has me 
interested ;) )

I do run a lot of Linux servers, so my major Linux interest these days 
is in server apps.
