[ale] wiki recommendations?

At least with Mediawiki, it's helpful to have a distro-specific HOWTO 
for installation.  Whereas docs on how to make version upgrades that 
require schema conversions were sketchy, just plain installation on 
Gentoo isn't hard to follow.
