[ale] ALERT: ubuntu users

I see that as hardly a means for distaste or dislike, or really the
verification of such distaste. When many eyes are on one product , its very
easy to criticize something for its downfalls. But Mr. Sumners, I did not
start this thread to dredge up old arguments.
