That would be the little blinky one next to the 1000 number. right ?

Yay! Working networking. I beat my head up against an initial bond0
config and finally discovered the Gbit switch just wouldn't work.

Well... working and, yet, still not working altogether correctly.

Now I have to figure out why updating the firmware on the switches has
caused massive numbers of timeouts any time the database or one of the
application servers tries to read or write from the NAS in the network. I
had this working fine by matching all settings on the switch and NICs before
but, as stated before, upgrading the firmware has caused me quite a bit of
trouble. However, it also allowed the switches to recognize things being
plugged into it within 1-2 seconds instead of 20-30...

The switches in question are Netgear GSM7248s.
- Flow Control enabled (as of earlier this afternoon) to match the fact that
it was already enabled on the NICs of most of the boxes I looked at.
- Every port connected to a device with GB NICs is set to Auto; NICs set to
1000FD/Autonegotiate
- Every port connected to a device with 100MB NICs is set to 100FD; NICs set
to 100FD

Any thoughts?

Thank you again.
-Ryan
