Hi all,

I just wanted to say thanks to Preston for setting up the MythTV
build-in and to Chris (I hope I'm spelling his name right) for answering
all my questions while hacking hardware. Also thanks to Charles for
going with me and helping me find the parking lot.

The morning started off with doughnuts and morphed into pizza later in
the afternoon, interspersed with hardware and MythTV hacking.

It was a lot of fun and we got to see MythTV in action. It's an
impressive package. Chris and Preston installed KnoppMyth on a
Microcenter PowerSpec Linspire machine (about $200 with rebate).

They were able to get the PVR150 working but had some difficulty with
the HD3000. Eventually they got it working but at only 5 frames/second.
They might have gotten a full 30 frames/sec but we ran out of time.

I came away with pictures of the event, a parts list, and plans for a
system of my own. Where should I post the pictures?

I also managed to leave my umbrella so if any one knows how to contact
Emory law school lost and found please let me know.

Dreaming of a MythTV of my own,
keith
