Not directly, AFAIK.  But you can use GRUB to boot a small binary image
that contains the smart bootmanager, which does have the ability to do
this.  SBM is also a good workaround for the case of running into a
machine where the BIOS has no El Torito support, and so you want to use
it to boot a bootable CD on a machine that doesn't support it:
