I've connected to a remote system using ssh -X but when I run x applications, they say the DISPLAY variable isn't set. I agree, but I thought the -X was supposed to set it on the remote end. At least that's what the docs seem to imply. My system is a debian 3.1, the remote system is FC4. Any ideas? Thanks, Jim.
