[ale] RHEL3 ES - / set to read-only after reboot

Was this system using mirrored drives?  I'd double check the status
now if that's the case.   Seeing that error about duplicate LABEL's is
interesting.  Take a look at all the partition labels (using tune2fs I
think) and see if you have duplication.
