[ale] Seeking ways to getting around spyware on Windows

Why yes there is ... I sent it from my work pc - a sadly administered
network (and I use the term very loosely) that tells me that nothing has
been sent out - and so I try again, thus sending it out a second time when I
start up my mail client (and hopefully not a third).  I apologize for the
list noise, but at least I didn't mention any rantable topics.
