[ale] Need to connect to a MS Access database from Linux

I agree with Kevin. I can't think of one good reason to use the Access
db format for anything other than a single user database. You can
easily use Access as a front end to other DBs, so if the requirement
is based on you already having an Access UI in place then you should
consider moving the data to a real DB and then using Access as a front
end.
