[ale] Ubuntu mouse woes ...

I've noticed that by default the xorg.conf on Ubuntu (maybe because of udev, I 
have no idea) says: 
Option          "Device"                "/dev/input/mice"

for the mouse. Maybe the path "/dev/psmouse" or /dev/ttyS0 is incorrect? Check 
in /dev/input, maybe you'll find something you can use in there.
