error message and then it dies and reloads. But not very often. Maybe
once a month.

When you said 'installed over' did you mean you forced an upgrade from
Suse to FC3 to did you wipe the drive and do a fresh install and restore
your home directory? I have never had good success changing brands by
overlay.

Except a conversion from RHEL3 to Centos 4 by changing the distro ID
package and installing the yum package from Centos and then doing 'yum
update' for the next 4 hours :)
