Yes, use it every day.  My T-Mobile phone is my GPRS connection for my 
laptop at work.  I also use Multisync to synchronize my contacts on the 
phone with Evolution.  If you need to buy a Bluetooth USB dongle, go for 
the DBT-120.  It uses the Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR) chipset, which 
works much better than the Broadcom chipsets.  Join the mailing list for 
users at http://bluez.sourceforge.net to get tons of information from 
other Bluetooth Linux users.  Marcell Holtmann himself answers many of 
the questions (the guy largely responsible for bluez).
