[ale] New kernel, new Palm sync problem

Hi alers

Mandrake 10.1 all upgraded/updated.
Everything was allright in Palm land when using kernel 2.6.8.1-12mdk.
After upgrading ( a few months back) to 2.6.8.1-24mdk and (yesterday)
2.6.8.1-25mdk, the sync crashes with this message:

Its a pita having to reboot with the 2.6.8.1-12mdk kernel everytime I need to 
sync.

Any ideas to remedy this is appreciated.
